 I can't say that these two always show love to each other, but this moment was one of the sweet ones. Pure joy, puddles, splashing, laughing.  Olle LOVES 'dada'. I love the way he is looking at Sten- pure adoration.  and here is our little Olle-boy. full of all the joy and all the boy in the world.  and this beauty. sweetness comes out in small amounts when you're least expecting it. She keeps us on our toes and makes us laugh nonstop.  I've never seen a kid first-hand fall asleep mid-meal. I just have never understood how a kid could fall asleep without a parent knowing... UNTIL last week. I was getting Lucy's lunch ready and all the sudden I looked over and Olle was ASLEEP. WHAT?!?! Guess our morning was super tiring?  My friend LeAnne has sheep at her house and one just had a lamb. We went over the other day and Lucy and Olle had so much fun! Heyo! Turned the big 3-1 this weekend and it was a GREAT day. Sten made it special right off the bat with a sweet card and some new, warm, cozy socks waiting for me when I got up. We cooked up some bacon and then Sten went out to shovel our crazy snow storm. Exhibit A: Wednesday, me, running in shorts in the warm sunshine with NO SNOW: Exhibit B: Me waking up on the day of my BIRTHDAY to THIS :( SAD FACE: It didn't ruin our day, however-- I ended up with a 5K PR on the treadmill, and concluded the night with my favorite people in my favorite place.  this picture SO perfectly captures each one of these kids personalities. We've been trying to cut back on sugar at our house and I found this recipe and tweaked it a bit. There are no added sugars, just the natural sweetness in fruit. I swapped half of the flour with ground almonds, so there is a nice nutty flavor in it. Hope you'll give it a try! Blueberry Banana Bread. 2 ripe bananas 1/2 C blueberries 1/2 C unsweetened applesauce 3 eggs 1 tsp vanilla 1 T plain yogurt 3/4 C flour 3/4 C ground almonds 1 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp baking powder pinch of salt 2 tsp cinnamon Preheat oven to 350. Mix dry ingredients, set aside. Mix together wet ingredients. Stir all together until fully combined. Bake 45-60mins, until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Winter seems to be dragging on for me.
