I think this will be our last trip as a family up at Bay Lake in the little red cabin. Yesterday we took a day trip and squeezed out every second. Not getting home until 11p, dragging our bodies into bed, tired out from a day spent doing all the things we love. Can't see the Carlson sign hanging  in the back bc we forgot to get a picture until it was too dark!  Love this guy so much. I love spending time with him at the lake when cares are gone and fun is being had. Lucy wanted to collect some sand in a little vile, so we boated to Rutgers and played in the sand for a bit This looks like such an old time disposable camera photo. I love it so much. I have a million pictures like this. Olle's favorite place in the world. He loves it up here so much.  ❤❤ Playing Rummikub while the lasagna cooks!   Heading back to school today as Sten goes back to church as well. The last few weeks flew as fast as the first part of summer and I am in total denial that this is all over. We had the best summer and I wish we could do it all again.  Lots of sleepy children these last couple weeks. Late night and days FULL. We feel so lucky that we got to pack so much in.  Here's a recap of the last drops of summer. Jessica and I took the girls camping. We had the greatest time hiking hanging by the campfire, finding coffee in marine on the St. Croix and sleeping in the camper. These 2 found matching lounge shorts which were a COMPLETE necessity.  Mom and dad came out for dinner one night, which was a real treat It still feels like a dream that my sister and I both have 11 year-old girls.
