Birthday Brunch at Hazelwoods with the best pals who made me feel like a 👸🏼  Sushi date with sten ❤️ Top bunk reading party… this is Lucy’s dream Skip Bo on my birthday at Starbucks with my sissy Snow day with friends…. And climbing up that ginormous hill a a million times.  Fresh baked bread happened this week and it was a highlight FOR SURE.  My favorite lunch. Hummus. 🤤 Kim’s 35th!!!!! So fun to celebrate her ❤️ My favorite place to be: holding baby Lauryn Avocado toast with egg on homemade bread. BEST.  The 3 who can instantly put a smile on my face!!! Celebrating birthdays with family Rummikub… I’m sooooooo glad my kids have reached the age where we can fun play games!! #37! I hope this year is full of more adventures, deeper relationships, being authentically me, and eating so much good food.    xo. edc.

I have had this blog for 12 years. Here is my first post and although it began as a cooking blog, it is definitely not that anymore :) My content changed when Lucy was born and I guess you could say my passion became being a mom instead of finding intricate recipes to recreate, take copious amounts of pictures of, and then post about it.  What a weird thing a blog is! But I’ve refereed to it many times because I have the worst memory in the world. How else would I remember all the tiny details of our lives and how we’ve spent each birthday/ anniversary/ special occasion?  I like this tiny corner of the world and how I can reflect on what life is like and why things are good.  So here’s to many more posts. xo. edc. 

Spider-Man cake for our big guy! This was not a total Pinterest fail!! I’m so glad it actually looks like Spider-Man:)  Thursday was Olles conference and of course his teacher feels the same way we do about him. He’s kind, competitive, smart and fun! I love hearing about my kids in spaces where I don’t actually get to see what they’re like IRL.  xo. edc. 

 Horribly out of order, but some of my FAVORITE Sigge pictures from the past FOUR years 😭😭😭😭 Today we’ll celebrate the big guy with a Spider-Man cake, smother our amazing 4 year old in a million kisses and read ALL his favorite books at bedtime.  He has brought more joy and levity to our home than I ever thought imaginable. He loves freely, plays hard, focuses in, laughs without hesitation, sings with his whole heart and hugs super tight.  Love you Sigge-boy. xo. edc.
