Family Camp was wonderful. The week flew by, we filled our days with all things camp, and literally never stopped moving until our heads hit the pillow each night. I love making memories here. I love how much fun the kids have, how easy it is to parent and how surrounded we are by such amazing people all week long.
"camp cookers" our Pictionary team took 2nd place!
We were lucky enough to spend a day extra at Lauren's condo after camp and we soaked up our time at the big lake. playing, jumping off the pier and getting buried in sand :)

Sten participated in the camper/staff soccer and basketball games which were highly entertaining and made me proud.
The boys did the climbing tower and leap of faith-- Olle man faced his fears and climbed all the way to the top this year! What a stud!
SOOO hot.
We had high hopes for the Portager Challenge this year, but ended up coming in 4th out of 7. One of these years we will WIN!
Sten, Lauren Sigge: Canoe
Olle: One mile run
Jonah: Climbing tower
Lucy: Sprinter
Lauren: brain buster
Me: Swim
Sten/Sigge: fire making
This was a good line-up!
Lauren and I did yoga on the lawn at Portage Point in one morning... glistening lake, bright morning sun and calming yoga-- best combo ever.
And this was the wildfire smoke for 2 days :( BLAH! It smelled horrible and the air quality was terrible. We made the most of it and still enjoyed our time, but it was definitely gross.
2nd place in the bags tournament!
Andy took the kids tubing and they had the time of their lives.
Morning views. Nothing beats waking up, kids zonked out in the cabin and sitting on the porch with coffee. We haul our coffee pot all the way to camp for this very reason :)
Does anyone else take pictures of their kids sleeping?! He is the cutest.
Sunset views:
Our bonfire at the point nights are always special, but this one was extra great. The kids played volleyball and swam and we stayed until the last bit of light, then trudged back through the sand hoping we collected everything in the dark.
We did a river float one day which was the BEST.
Sigge rocking the indoor climbing wall.

Then you pack up and leave camp and as everyone is saying their goodbyes they say: "See you next year!" It's the worst! We have to wait 365 days to be back at that place? I got a hat that says: At Camp as it is in Heaven. It sure does feel like a little slice of heaven on earth.
Goodbye PLCBC!
