I started my week with a family hang at big c, where an epic game of HORSE was played and I was the first one out :)
A walk at Willow River happened Monday morning. It was nice to be in nature, walking. I realized driving home that maybe that’s what I missed most while dealing with the foot pain last month. I couldn’t even go on walks. Walking is such a lovely way to take it in. Haley and I finally made it to Willow on Thursday for our traditional "Thursday Trail Run"... boy did that feel good! Crazy how nature has a way of completely resetting your mood.Sigge and I had a “drawing competition” where we couldn’t look at the hulk and had to draw it from memory. He totally won. I’m amazed by him every day.
On Earth Day Sigge and I went on a trash walk and found a lot of trash! 2 bags and an old sign. We had so much fun and it felt good to do something nice to the earth.
We met Harry, Crosby and Haley at the park and ran around in the woods. The time zoomed by. Spring with children is just the best. I think we went to a park each day this week.Sten gigged at 45th Parallel and we had fun. Games, drawing, football, pizza and kiddie cocktails, the best things all around a little table.
Olle man is such a gem right now. He is full of all things boy.
Sigge shows up authentically himself in every situation and although some of the time it makes me want to pull my hair out/cringe, I know this is for sure his super power.
Lucy is old! I can feel her being more of a 5th grader than a 4th grader these days. Such a special soul!
Always love Baptism Sunday at MC. I cheer the loudest and get emotional every single time someone comes up outta that water.
Finished this book. It was a good one
Sigge and I went to DQ. We played would you rather, laughed and sat on the same side of the booth.
Lucy and Sten at daddy daughter dance... I loved that she let me help her pick out an outfit and I love this tradition for them. One more year! How can it be?
Date Night for me and Sten at Olio. It was the highlight of my week.
The Colts won! Olle's team played well and it was fun to watch their improvement from last game!!
We had a good week. We played a lot, spent a lot of time outside and enjoyed each moment we got to spend together. When I look back on pictures from the week I feel so thankful for the people in my life. For the ways they show up for me, and for the ability to be able to show up for them. Trying my hardest to enjoy these last few weeks of school and routine before summer starts and things get a little more wild around here with 3 kids home all day :)
