Our haul from the garden… the tomatoes look a little rough— but I think they’re going to make some excellent salsa! Hailleys 40th birthday. No, it was not a Barbie party. She just loves pink… we went to the spa, got ready all together and then met the guys for dinner and it was so fun The beautiful birthday gal.   This book! I finished it this morning and it’s been my favorite of the summer!  Cousin sleepover, which kind of ended tragically with a trampoline injury (everyone is ok!)… Re-creating a picture from the past: I mean!! Come on!!!!!! Adorable.  Also— this giraffe was so close!!! And then my baby grew up and doesn’t need training wheels anymore and I could cry.  More card games with lucy bear 🐻  And Sigge has a new best friend named Gunnar. We need a dog. A couple weeks ago I went to a “sip and snip” where we snipped a bouquet of flowers and sipped on some wine while chatting about opening our own flower garden/ event space and dreaming about buying land and living out in the middle of nowhere with friends.  It seriously was one of my most memorable nights of the summer. I want to re-live it over and over weekly.  Flowers. Why don’t I have flowers around at all times? I just get so happy about flowers. You can’t feel anything but joy with a bouquet of flowers in your hand.  To make things even more dreamy, as we were driving home there was a sunflower field that was just calling to us! How could we not stop? And then because we were giddy about life we sat in Mary’s garage for wayyyyy too long and went to bed late, dreaming of flower gardens and garden parties.  We painted our porch, door, door frame and garage door this past week. A week at Bay Lake. Good for the soul!   Catching LOTS of fish.  A million card games with this one while the boys fish  Feels like you get extra snuggles at the lake.  Butterfly kisses Lonesome Pine for dinner one night Hannah came to visit on her way home from cuyuna! Lunch and a boat ride made our day! A half marathon at the lake was really good for my physche  And sten gigged at our favorite brewery and it was SO fun.  It’s always the best to be at a place that makes you happy. xo. edc.
