We got back from Michigan on Sunday and it was a dream. We all had the best time, and as I get older I am more and more convinced that experiences like this will shape my kids into the people they will grow up to be.
Elin and Lucy. A special cousin bond that I hope continues to get stronger and stronger.
Our point night did not provide a spectacular sunset like it has in years past, but it was still beautiful and there is nothing like building a bonfire on the beach and hanging out with your people.
Lake Michigan coastline never gets old.
Date night
These 2 really poured into Olle. I love that it was so evident how much they loved Jesus and cared about these little campers. What a gift to have cool guys to look up to
soaking up Pablo's wisdom. :)
Pool noodle/box/duct tape competition. I thought for sure we had it in the bag, but we came in 2nd.
a gloomy morning run. I like the gloomy mornings up there for some reason.
I'm always amazed at how excited the kids are to do the climbing towers/ leap of faith etc. They scramble on up and face any fear and the staff are so good to them and patient.
Another run, this time to the South Point.
Portager Challenge. Came in 5th out of 6.... I keep saying one of these years we're going to win... but I am starting not to believe myself.
Endless ball sports were played.
Chapel time. My favorite. Because it forces everyone to stop, and be still and snuggle in with one another and sing and listen.
Sten and I went to a VERY nice dinner and ordered almond crusted shrimp for an appetizer and it was such a treat and so much fun.
Team Pictionary where there were SO many laughs and everyone's competitive spirit really came out.
Annual run to the point. Love this tradition. and So grateful for the well pictured above at mile 4.7 and 9.3 when you really need a drink of water :)
Happy Golden Birthday Olle! YOU ARE LOVED
Matching with Mim!
Craft Hall on repeat for Lucy. Sigge spent a lot of time in there too, but I never got a picture of him.
Olle's fav staff member Nathan
