 Let’s talk about the love I felt this week going back to work. Starting with a new work bag filled to the brim with goodies from Haley, then I got flowers dropped off from Andrea’s garden, a Starbucks gift card for “on the way to work coffee”, a gift bag of fun from Mary and the sweetest note from Olle. Sten supported me extra this week by taking on more and making me feel like I could do anything.  This is what makes life with others worth it. When you need some extra love and support your people love and support you!  I felt it this week and I was thankful! Week went great! I feel ready for my kids to start on Thursday and confident that I can do it! I’m excited and ready. Here’s to new growth and adventure.  xo. edc.

It feels like slamming a book you’ve been engrossed in shut, out of finality and then looking around and saying “now what?”. Where’s my baby that needs me? Where are the play dates on the calendar?...

I can’t believe it’s over 😩 Fastest week of the year. We had the greatest time making memories with family.  Our annual point night was a good one. We stayed until the townies started firing off their fireworks and it was so dark you’re not sure you found all your things from the beach. The girls swam in their undies and tshirts and we watched the sun set over Lake Michigan… A family picture where everyone is smiling! I love it! I mean!!!! Isn’t that beautiful?! These 3 were fearless all week long. They did it all! Climbing tower, crate stacking, flying squirrel, leap of faith, blob x1,000, arts and crafts, jumped in the water at every chance, square dancing, bingo, day camp skit, out camp, portager challenge… they never stopped and experienced everything camp had to offer!  These 4 did out camp this year— they went out to the woods and had the best time sleeping in tents with cousins.
