Sunday started off with a 10 mile run and the weather was perfect. So sunny and I wore just the right amount of clothes. I documented my run bc in non-coronavirus times I often can’t run on Sunday’s. Sten is out of the house before 6, so I’d have to leave at 4:30 to get in a distance run. So while I was out running this morning I looked at my watch often and would say to myself: I’ve never been out running on a Sunday at 7:41am before!
We watched church online then spent the rest of the day outside. It was a blue sky day! We met the Bernard’s at a park with a big field and the kids ran around while we sat 6 ft apart on blankets. I want to squeeze Amos and Olive and give my sister the biggest hug. Won’t it feel weird to hug people again??
Forgot to talk about my cute snack board we put together for lunch. Some of my favorite things ☝️
The Bernard’s stayed for a bit and I couldn’t help but think about how funny this whole experience is. Trying to social distance with FAMILY at a park... who would have ever thought?
I also have a new mantra that I will implement tomorrow — and, since I’m already blogging daily I plan to update my progress as I close out each day.
COVID-19 Mantra:
50-19-5
50= run 50 miles a week, indulge in a 50 calorie sweet treat each day
19= continue my 19 pushups/sit-ups. Spend 19 minutes praying/ journaling each day, read at least 19 minutes each day.
5= wake up within 5 minutes of 5:45 each day. Lose 5 pounds, list 5 things I’m thankful for each day
